Lifetime Achievement Award
Poster Children were given a Lifetime Achievement Award last week at the 2008 Champaign-Urbana Local Music Awards. It was very flattering to be in the same company with the previous years' winners, Ward Gollings, Chef Ra and Mark Rubel.
The Crimes and Confessions of Kip Knutzen
Rose and Rick wrote music for Deke Weaver's play, "The Crimes and Confessions of Kip Knutzen: A Hockey Way of Knowledge" and will be accompanying performances at the Station Theater in Urbana, February 14-23. Come out and see a "dark, funny tale of a man’s journey through the magical frozen lakes, sexy fishhouse encounters and semi-rabid ice arenas of The Frozen North."
