Josh Gottheil Memorial Concert- Memorial Day Weekend

Poster Children will be emerging from hibernation on Memorial Day weekend to play a show in honor of Josh Gottheil, who was an integral part of the 1980's Champaign-Urbana music scene. Also scheduled to appear: The Outnumbered (Jon Ginoli's pre-Pansy Division jangle punk band), Lonely Trailer (hugely influential CU quirk rockers), and Cowboy X (Trashcan Records power poppers). A quick personal note: Rick and Jim's dad passed away on Tuesday, June 10. Rich Valentin was always very supportive of the band- even driving 90 miles down from Chicago to pick us and our equipment up when our van broke down on the way to our first recording session for Flower Plower- he will be deeply missed.
